Stable Diffusion is a latent diffusion model (Latent Diffusion Model) – a type of deep generative neural network. Stable Diffusion's code and model weights are publicly released and can run on most computer hardware equipped with a modest GPU, whereas previously proprietary Vincent graph models such as DALL-E and Midjourney were only accessible through cloud computing services.

1. DreamStudio version (officially launched by StabilityAI)
2. Stable Diffusion XL (launched by ClipDrop under StabilityAI)
3. Stable Artisan (Discord version service launched by StabilityAI)
